Hello,
For the 1st Iberian Strabismus Surgery Meeting 2024, in Porto on October 11 and 12, 2024, I wanted to prepare a session on "My mm is not your mm".
The initial idea was for it to be a discussion round table, but in the end it has to be a 10-15 minute session.
I would like to collect videos (the more people the better) and expose the different ways we have to operate a strabismus. I would crop and edit the video. I would also put the name of the surgeon, whoever wants, whoever doesn't want, I'll make it anonymous.
I would like to collect (because of the limited time) exclusively the retroinsertion of a horizontal muscle, and resection if there is time. The most basic strabismus surgery, but a lot of people do it different.
I would focus on how to get to the muscle, how to secure it and disinsert it, how to measure (whoever measures) and scleral fixation.
Surely there will be several similar ones, I would group them and put the name of the surgeon and next to it the name of the person who performs the same technique.
Anyone who would like to participate should fill out the following form.
Once you fill out the form you will receive an email with the link to upload the video (or videos).
Thanks for your time, kind regards.
